This Saturday's Class (12/19):

All GT Art students:
This week's artwork requires that you personally select a still life object that can be recorded as it changes environment, or a group of objects that can be arranged to have a personal narrative (story).

What does that mean?
You need to bring a personal object or series of objects to class this Saturday (which you wish to draw). Also: think about the environment you wish to place your still life object in. If it is not an environment that can be found at Howard High you should bring images of that environment or anything else you may need to class.

You also need to bring your finished B&O Railroad Museum drawings and drawing board to class this week.
JV Group: CHANGE IN SYLLABUS

December 19th- Planned as an Object/Narrative Observational Drawing problem. You have one of 3 options:
1. Complete a drawing for the Object/Narrative drawing problem. BRING IN AN INTERESTING OBJECT TO DRAW FROM. (see above)
2. Finish and explore your Botanical printmaking problem more extensively. Print with multiple colors, print on multiple surfaces, print using the Chine Colle method.
3. Finish your diptych/triptych/polyptych in class using the media you selected, or with a wet media such as watercolor. Add more drawings if time allows to the series.

Come prepared knowing or having an idea of what you want to go- you may want to bring an object just in case you move on, or change your mind!
